Andrew is originally from Colorado – attending high school in Greeley, earning his Master’s Degree in Ft. Collins at Colorado State University, and then working as a School Counselor for seven years in Craig, Colorado. He has been an Academic Counselor at Canby High School since 2000. Before becoming a School Counselor, Mr. Young worked as a Group Home Youth Worker for three years in Lincoln, Nebraska, while also earning his Bachelor’s of Education from the University Of Nebraska. Mr. Young enjoys family, travel, hiking, biking, kayaking, and watching sports and action/sci.fi. movies & tv.
KELLY NACE-JINDRICH – Academic Counselor for last names H-O
Kelly is originally from the Chicago area and has worked in Illinois, Colorado and Oregon. She started her career in education as an art teacher for K-12. She has been an academic counselor at Canby High School since 1997. Kelly enjoys yoga, traveling and grizzly bears.
DAREN GILBERT – Academic Counselor for last names P-Z
Daren is originally from Alaska, but has lived in Oregon for the past 35 years. She spent 14 years as a high school English teacher before moving into Academic Counseling. Daren has been at Canby High School since 2000. She is the mom of 3 Canby High graduates . She enjoys reading and puzzles.
TREVOR LOCKWOOD, LCSW – Intervention-Prevention Specialist
Trevor grew up in California and Oregon. Prior to coming to CHS, Trevor worked in the mental health field. He has been at Canby High for 8 years. Trevor enjoys travel, cooking and reading.

Leesa has been at Canby High School for 16 years, nearly all of that time in the Counseling Office. She enjoys cycling, motorcycles and watching the Timbers.
