What is a CEAP?

What is a CEAP?

During distance learning last spring (19/20) students received final grades recorded as either a “P” for pass or an “I” for incomplete. Students who received an incomplete for a class have until August of 2021 to demonstrate proficiency and earn a passing mark.

For every incomplete earned a student received a CEAP or Credit Earning Assurance Plan from the teacher who reported the grade. Each CEAP detailed the work needed to be completed to achieve proficiency in the class and earn a passing grade.

During this school year, our Completion Coaches Chris and Jimmy, will mentor, tutor, guide, and assist in goal setting with students, as well as work with teachers and parents and students to create portfolios to allow students to earn the credit they need.
