Living Environment
What will I need for Living Environment class?
Each student will need:
- A 2 or 2.5 inch binder, with a few dividers. Suggested divider labels: Notes, Tests/Quizzes, Homework. Note packets will be printed for you, but you will want to add some loose leaf paper to your binder.
- Pens and Pencils!
- You may want a simple calculator. I allow students to use their cell phone calculator on simple calculations but obviously that will not apply on tests or quizzes.
- Headphones/Earbuds: A lot of work will be done through our online course. This will include some videos and songs.
- We will periodically use scissors, glue, and colored pencils. I have some in class but you are more than welcome to bring and use your own!

Mrs. DiFino's Living Environment course is managed through BUZZ, an online LMS (Learning Management System). Every student will have a private login and will be able to track their progress. Course grades will still be maintained using SchoolTool. Parents and students are encouraged to monitor grades through SchoolTool's parent and student portals.

Students will use many Google Apps throughout this class. While Buzz will be a large component for communication and assignments, we will utilize Google Drive (sheets, docs, slides) for sharing & collaboration. Our classroom Google Calendar is embedded below.
