Please Note!
High school graduation requirements DO NOT mirror admission requirements for colleges. If you're wanting to attend college, I highly recommend exceeding the minimum requirements and taking additional social studies and science classes especially. Do your research early so that you know what classes colleges will expect to see on your transcript.
Central A&M students must earn 22 credits to graduate. They must take:
Four years of English - 4.0 credits
Three years of Math - 3.0 credits
Two years of Social Studies - 2.0 credits - American History 1&2 and Civics/American History 3
Two years of Science - 2.0 credits - one of which will be Integrated Science taken during the freshman year
Four years of P.E. - 1.2 credits (Wellness or Strength and Conditioning)

Students will attain remaining credits (approximately 7 credits) through electives.
Students who do not pass a required class will retake it. They can choose between summer school or placing it in their school schedule in a later year. Students are responsible for ensuring they fulfill all graduation requirements and need to communicate with Mrs. Taylor about any concerns as they arise.
As you build the schedule you want, please reference the Curriculum Guide to read about the topics each class covers.
