Sophie Hess
Sophie Hess
Sophie was a camper from 2009 to 2011 and on staff from 2012 to 2019 (Program Director 2016 to 2018, Senior Director's Assistant 2019). Since graduating from Haverford College in 2019 with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in Peace, Justice, and Human Rights, Sophie is a second-year law student at The University of Texas School of Law.
“In joining the board I hope to contribute to and give back to the Onas community. As the Program Director at Camp for 3 years, I have a strong sense of how Camp's summer program runs and I hope that joining the board allows me to learn more about the year-round operations and use my specific camp knowledge and operational background to help camp run even better! I hope to go into nonprofit work in the education space long term, so joining the board was a no-brainer for me. I'm so excited to get to know everybody and work together to make Onas the best it can be!” - Sophie
Kate Wellhofer
Kate Wellhofer
Kate was a camper from 2007 to 2011 and on staff from 2013 to 2016. Kate graduated from New York University with a double major in Drama and Political Science and is currently based in New York City working as one of the stage managers on the Broadway musical, Kimberly Akimbo.
