Welcome Isabelle!

We are thrilled to announce Isabelle Helmich’s return to Camp Onas as our new Advancement and Engagement Director! Isabelle joined the Camp Onas team this past July.

Isabelle will work with members of the Camp Onas community to increase engagement and implement an advancement strategy to prepare Camp Onas for a vibrant future while preserving what has always made Onas special. She is excited and grateful to help build upon a special community that wants to see Camp accomplish its goals and mission.

Growing up, Isabelle spent 12 summers at Onas as a camper and summer staff member. Her favorite things about Camp are Meeting for Worship in the Walnut Grove, listening to the sound of rain falling on tents, singing in the Dining Hall, and many lifelong friendships that started at Camp.

Before returning to Onas, Isabelle worked as a fundraiser for Penn State's Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications, which is her alma mater. While there, she helped Penn State alumni and donors make personally meaningful philanthropic contributions that helped advance the University’s institutional priorities.

Isabelle currently resides in South Philadelphia with her cat, Mowmow, and looks forward to frequent visits to her "home without walls" in Ottsville, PA.
