We take special pride in our Outdoor Classroom, which provides amazing outdoor learning opportunities for Campbell students all year long, and is fully funded by the Campbell PTA, with your support.
The outdoor garden provides rich hands-on outdoor learning opportunities for Campbell students. Students have built a calming garden, grown and tasted edible plants, and observed the life that surrounds the pond.
The "Garden Builders" after school enrichment club is building new compost bins and discovering what type of composting methods break down materials fastest.
Students use garden journals to observe changes in the garden throughout the year and their time at Campbell.
Campbell gardeners installed a DIY olla watering system to keep garden beds watered during dry weather.
This year we hope to:
Raise money for a new, larger greenhouse with capacity for students to work inside;
Give students expanded opportunity to grow plants from seed through winter growing, using cold frames and hoops;
Expand opportunities for Campbell families to engage with the garden through new spaces accessible to the community.
