SPECIAL OLYMPICS of CAMPBELL COUNTY EMBARKS ON A JOURNEY TO INSPIRE AND PROMOTE INCLUSION
[ALEXANDRIA, NOVEMBER 17, 2023] – Special Olympics Campbell County is thrilled to announce its official formation, marking a momentous step towards promoting inclusivity, athleticism, and community integration for individuals with intellectual disabilities above the age of 8. The newly established chapter is set to create opportunities for local athletes to shine, compete, and forge lasting connections within the Tri-State area. With a mission to foster a sense of belonging and empowerment, Special Olympics Campbell County will collaborate with neighboring chapters, expanding the scope of opportunities for athletes. In this spirit, our athletes will have additional teams to challenge and compete against, enhancing their skills and camaraderie.

Sign up for bocce with Special Olympics Campbell County KY on Thursday 2/15 between 6 and 8pm at the Alexandria Community Center (this is during our basketball practice time). If you can not make this sign up night please reach out here so we can get an accurate count.
Bocce runs April - June and will be on Monday nights at 6pm in Alexandria KY. Cost to play is $25 cash or check. If your athlete is new to Special Olympics athlete forms will need to be completed. More information will be given out during the sign up night.
