3rd grade celebrate the end of the year with a Living Biography project. Students choose their hero or inspirations character and learn how to research and write a biography. On presentation day students dress as their chosen character. To incorporate technology, students prepare their biography presentation on a powerpoint and use a chrome book to display it.

There are great artist and musicians in our school. This is a celebration of Music in Our Schools. Students from different grades perform for their peers, allowing all to know what are the opportunities for all students in the music department.

4th grade celebrates the end of the year with the States Project. Students choose a state and prepare a tri fold with their research results.

4th grade Science Fair. Students work in groups of 3 to do the experiment a couple of times and to prepare the tri fold presentation for the day of the fair.

1st grade celebrates the end of the year with a beautiful Tea Party. Each student brings a guest and enjoy their company while eating tea sandwiches and sipping iced tea. Past years themes were Beatrix Potter, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Beauty and the Beast and Candyland.

2nd grade celebrates the end of the year with a play performance. This year they told Folk Tales. Students practice public speaking, singing and working as a team.

Read Across America at Katz Dalsey Academy is celebrated during an entire week! A month prior to the celebrations students enter a T-shirt design contest. Our shirts are 100% designed by our students. On Dr. Seuss' birthday teacher read Dr. Seuss' books and students do activities for each book.
