The Cambrian School District has guidelines for class celebrations and birthdays, effective November 1, 2023.
When your child's birthday draws near (or half birthday for summer birthdays), we interview them so we really highlight their special day. The whole class each designs a personalized picture for the birthday and those pages are put together and made into a birthday book keepsake for your child to take home.
For the safety and health of all students on campus, no food treats may be sent to school for birthdays.
"Food-free" treats/goodie bags may be handed out to each child as they leave at the end of the school day. For simplicity, identical goodie bags for the whole class are preferred. You can also donate a book to our library! Our library clerk will add a bookplate on the inside front cover to honor your child.
No homemade food during the school day for class parties or birthdays.
Thank you!
