English Language Arts

Throughout this year in Language Arts students will continue their journey toward being active, skillful, and confident readers. We will explore many elements of literature through engaging fiction and non-fiction text. Students will also grow and gain confidence as critical thinkers, writers and communicators. Your sixth grader will have the opportunity to develop as a writer in our writing workshop. In the workshop, we will focus on narrative, argumentative and informational writing.
