Submission Process

1. We have an eShare address where you can upload your senior's portrait by November 21, 2025. Go to the link listed directly below or click HERE (https://yearbookshare.com/eShare/home). You need to use the code "Papermakers" when prompted.

2. On Friday, December 20, look for a pdf file of all received senior portraits in the Senior Scoop newsletter. This is your opportunity to review your senior's photo and ensure it is correct. Any senior portrait that is not correct on the pdf or in person must be flagged by YOU by emailing our adviser, kate.gooding@camas.wednet.edu by January 10.

3. Email our adviser if you'd like to confirm your senior's photo was accepted, as our publisher does not email confirmations of submission.

4. Any submissions past the November deadline will not be in the book.

OTHER NOTES:

• Only head and shoulders will be in the yearbook photo (some cropping may occur); if we can’t crop it to a headshot size, we won’t be able to use it (it gets blurry when we crop too much)

• Do not cut the head/hairline at the top or sides of the photo.

• Do not resize (or "blow up") a low-resolution image to meet the minimum size requirements. Pixelated photos will be rejected.

• There should be no special filters or graphics added to the photograph; no black-and-white photos

• There should be no props in the photograph.

•  Eyes should be looking at the camera; no hats covering eyes or sunglasses.

• Avoid putting hands near the face (no leaning on fist, hand in hair, etc.). Acceptability of hands in photographs will be evaluated on a per-photo basis.

• If hands are near the face, There should be no hand gestures; photos with hand gestures will be rejected.

• The CHS Yearbook reserves the right to refuse any photograph.

Digital File Format

• RENAMED: [Last]_[First].jpg

  • Example: Papermaker_Joe.jpg

• width 675 px (minimum)

• height 900 px (minimum)

• file format type JPEG or JPG

NOTE: DO NOT save photos into Word, Works, Photoshop, tiff, gif, or PDF, file formats. We will be unable to receive them.

WE DO NOT ENCOURAGE TAKING PHYSICAL PRINTS FROM YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER AND SCANNING THEM. THE QUALITY WILL BE POOR. 

HAVE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER GIVE YOU THE DIGITAL IMAGE FILE AS A .JPG.

CHS Yearbook staff reserves the right to reject photos for not meeting the above yearbook photo requirements. If your photo is rejected, it is your responsibility to resubmit a photo that meets the requirements. By emailing us your yearbook photo, you agree to these terms.
