Calvert Cliffs is the nuclear power plant that the state of Maryland uses to get nuclear energy. It is the only nuclear power plant in Maryland and as by its name it's in Lusby, Maryland.

Nuclear power plants are the largest source of clean power in the United States. They generate about 800 billion kilowatt hours of electricity each year. They produce about half of the nation's electricity. They also create tons of jobs and make a lot of money for the U.S domestically. It’s better than using coal to produce electricity (less fossil fuel usage).
