"Teacher Appreciation Luncheon"
Spring 2025
NHS members held a bake sale in November of 2025 to raise money for a Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. This was born from the desire to thank teachers for the extra work and creativity they tirelessly gave during the first 3 months of the '25-'26 school year (before the PA State Budget passed and they were able to receive needed supplies/textbooks).
Our faculty are amazing and the NHS members wanted to make sure they know it!
From Fundraiser to.mp4"THE CAMP AT OLD MILL"
Fall 2024
NHS members were assigned different projects around the camp to clean up from a busy summer of campers and prepare of their winter events.
"PRODUCTIVE LIVES MINISTRIES"
Spring 2024
NHS members partnered with a Kensington church and cleaned up an alley storage space, playground and basement, prayed with guests who were waiting in line for their food, and distributed food and other needed items. They also heard a testimony of someone who was helped by the ministry and is now volunteering to help others.
"KISS THE CAST"
NHS members prepared "Kiss the Cast" cards for CCA's drama performances. These cards were for audience members to write a note of encouragement for the performers...and it had a Hershey kiss attached to it!
"SMALL THINGS PHILLY"
Fall 2023
NHS members sorted food donations and packaged snack bags to be distributed to Philadelphia children in need
