Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Amanda Hartzell Middendorf is an ANCC board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Caledonia Convenient Care and Traveling Health LLC, serving patients across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
With a background spanning hospital medicine, acute care/emergency care, long-term care, and telehealth, Amanda brings a unique blend of acute clinical expertise and compassionate primary care to her patients. She is passionate about improving access to high-quality healthcare in rural communities and providing patient-centered, evidence-based care close to home.
In addition to her clinical work, Amanda serves as an adjunct member at Viterbo University’s School of Nursing, where she has taught Acute Care, Gerontology and Mental Health Nursing to MSN and BSN students. Her dedication to teaching and mentoring the next generation of nurses reflects her belief that strong providers build stronger communities.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Amanda now lives in Caledonia, MN with her husband, Aaron—a Caledonia native—and their two young sons, Asher (6) and Alden (3). Outside of her professional and family life, she enjoys time with her horses, caring for their farm, and staying involved in the local community.
Her practice philosophy is simple: to meet patients where they are, treat them with dignity, and make healthcare accessible, personal, and convenient.
