Sophomore Guest Requirements for SCHS Upperclassmen
Seniors and Juniors can bring a Sophomore as a guest if they meet the following criteria:
Sophomore Guest Request Form (separate from the basic guest request form) must be filled out and turned in by April 16th, 2026.
Included on the form:
4 teacher recommendations
Signatures from all guardians involved
3 questions filled out by the upperclassman on
Why the Junior/Senior wants the Sophomore to attend
Why that Sophomore deserves to be at the Prom
Why the Sophomore is mature enough to handle the event
Sophomore who have had ISS or OSS during the 2025-2026 school year may not be able to attend Prom. Administration will look at this on a case by case basis.
Sophomore GPA (3.0 or higher)
In addition:
The Junior/Senior is held responsible for Sophomore behavior at the 2026 Prom.
The Sophomore Guest cannot enter Prom without the Junior/Senior and the Junior/Senior cannot leave the Prom without the Sophomore Guest. They are responsible for the guest during the event.
Only one guest per Junior/Senior
Sophomore Guest Tickets will go on sale April 30th - May 14th once approved if tickets are still available.
Tickets are $50.00. .
The Junior/Senior must purchase the ticket, but the Sophomore does not have to be present to purchase.
The Sophomore Guest Request Form must have already been approved to purchase the ticket.
Upperclassmen will be contacted by no later than April 30th to let them know that their guest form is approved.
