11th grade and up Guest requirements:
NO Freshmen allowed at prom
Sophomores are allowed at prom on a limited basis
Absolutely no refunds for student or guest tickets.
Guest Request Forms including the Sophomore Guest Request Forms are due by April 16th. You will be notified no later than April 30th if your guest was approved.
No tickets can be purchased before April 30th.
All Tickets for Prom must be purchased by May 14th, 2026.
A picture ID is required for admission to prom.
Guests must be currently in high school or a high school graduate or gainfully employed.
NOTE-FORM MUST BE LEGIBLE OR GUEST WILL BE DENIED.
Prom Eligibility and Attendance Policy
Students will not be permitted to make up time missed in order to become eligible for prom. Any student who accumulates 15 or more absences in any class over the course of the school year may be deemed ineligible to attend prom.
Final eligibility decisions will be made at the discretion of the principal.
**Students with OSS, ISS, or other disciplinary referrals may not be allowed to attend prom. Administrator discretion will be used on a case-by-case basis to determine if that student may attend prom. Students with ISS or OSS week of prom will not be allowed to attend prom. This disciplinary policy applies to all SCHS students attending prom, including 10th & 11th grade guests.**
Students enrolled at SCHS as juniors and seniors may request to bring a guest to the prom that will be their date for the evening.
Juniors and Seniors can only bring one guest
Guests must arrive and exit with the SCHS student who requested their approval in order to be admitted to prom.
The Junior and Senior are held responsible for their guests behavior at Prom.
The guest must be enrolled in the 10th grade or above and be no older than 20 years of age on May 16th, 2026.
Guests must be enrolled in high school or must be a high school graduate who is enrolled in an institution of higher learning or gainfully employed.
Upperclassmen/Graduate guest request forms will be available beginning in January. Forms can be picked up in Main Office or Mrs. Clark’s office.

SCHS will complete a background check on all students who do not attend SCHS
Sophomore guest request forms will be available beginning in January. Forms can be picked up in Main Office or Mrs. Clark’s office. Sophomore requirements are:
GPA (3.0 or higher)
Teacher Recommendations (4)
Behavior (no discipline during 2024-2025 school year)
Upperclassman must also complete a 3 question essay on
Why the Junior/Senior wants the Sophomore to attend
Why that Sophomore deserves to be at the Prom
Why the Sophomore is mature enough to handle the event
