Caldwell High School provides a comprehensive educational experience for its students, with Career Technical Education courses, College Credit Plus courses, Advanced Placement courses, and more.
Included below is the Caldwell High School Course of Study, which is frequently updated with new course offerings, course descriptions, and more. All academic information, including graduation requirements and more, can be found in the course of study. The course of study is not official district policy and is subject to change, but is provided for students and their guardians for informational purposes.
Caldwell High School partners with Mid East Career and Technology Centers for Career Technical Education, as well as local colleges for our College Credit Plus dual enrollment program.
Deciding to participate in a partnering school's educational program can be beneficial to numerous students. Mrs. Wells and Mr. Secrest are here to help advise the students on routes that enhance their post-secondary goals.
See the sections below for more information regarding Mid East and CCP.
Students must submit a CCP intent form by April 1st in the year preceding participation. The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce provides annual information to families regarding the CCP program, which can be found in the slides below. CHS offers a College Credit Plus information night each year. Parents and students must attend this meeting, or schedule an individual meeting with Mrs. Wells to receive the information.
Students are not limited to pursuing these pathways, but these pathways exist for information and guidance. These options are our 15- and 30-credit hour pathways. These options can lead to an associate's degree with additional coursework.
