RULES

Terms of use:

• 🔞 No person under the age of 18 is allowed in the Maker Space without express oversight of University faculty or staff member and express permission of the University. 

• ⚖️ Anyone who enters the Maker Space must sign the Liability Waiver form.

• 🔥 If you plug in a piece of equipment, unplug it as soon as you are done with its use. This especially applies to the 🔥Soldering Iron🔥.

• 🔒 Space must be kept locked when not in use.

• 🧹 Maker Space users must leave the space clean and orderly.

• 🤖 When Robotics Club (RC) users are not actively working in the space, all RC projects, equipment, and material must be confined to the roughly ⅓ area closest to the windows (see Figure 2; RC work area marked in red).

  • The cut-off table (Figure 2; cut-off table marked in purple) and other spaces may be used during work sessions, but not otherwise. Nothing may be left on the cut-off table after RC users leave the space.

• 🗄️ Art Dept storage areas, closet, and cabinets are off limits to the RC users (see Figure below; Art Dept cabinets marked in blue).

• 🎨 Art Dept equipment may ONLY be used with the express permission of an Art Dept faculty member.

• ❗ If the space and the sharing agreements are not treated respectfully or significant damage is incurred, the Art Dept reserves the right to limit further access.
