The Honor Band is our top-performing ensemble, consisting of advanced musicians who  demonstrate high levels of skill, dedication, and responsibility. Membership is based on director approval of a successful audition, prior experience, and commitment to excellence. 

Expectations and Requirements:

• Daily participation, punctuality, and preparation for rehearsals.

• High-level musicianship, including technical proficiency and musical expression.

• Regular home practice and private lessons (highly encouraged).

• Mandatory audition for the MidCoast Region Band in January unless excused due to a family emergency or severe illness.

• Participation in all concerts, contests, and extra rehearsals.

• Adherence to all school and band policies regarding behavior, performance etiquette, and rehearsal discipline.
