Mrs. Hernandez has completed her 4th successful year as a music educator in the Corpus Christi area. She resides with her husband, Felix, and 2 children, Felix & Francheska. Mrs. Hernandez is an alumni and former Drum Major of Hebbronville HS and has 3 years of Drum Corps International experience. Mrs. Hernandez graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi with an emphasis in French Horn pedagogy. She was a member of the TAMUCC Wind Symphony, Islander Pep Band, TAMUCC horn studio, TAMUCC orchestra, and the guest conductor for the TAMUCC University band. Mrs. Hernandez also holds a Master of Music degree with an emphasis in Instrumental Education at Texas A&M University-Kingsville School of Music .
