Meet Mr. Goodman

Mr. Goodman has been teaching at Calallen since 2017. He teaches Beginner Percussion, Concert Band Percussion, Symphonic Band PErcussion, and Honor Band Percussion at CMS. At CHS, Mr. Goodman teaches the Percussion Class, Percussion Ensemble, Steelband, Drumline, and assists with the bands. 

Mr. Goodman graduated with a B.M. in Music from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL. He spent  summers marching DCI with the Marion Cadets, Teal Sound, and aged out as the center snare and percussion section leader with the DCI Finalists Colts. Mr. Goodman has also studied and performed steelpan in Trinidad with the Hatters Steel Orchestra from San Fernando. 

When not teachning, Mr. Goodman can be found playing steelpan gigs around Corpus Christi, and barbecueing.
