Four student mobilities are planned: Scotland, France, Italy and Spain and a training event in Spain on methodological aspects and communication between participants. Before each mobility (preparation phase) the necessary contents for the different workshops of the mobilities will be worked on. During these exchanges, Twinspace events will also take place: joint work between the participants in the mobility and those who have not travelled.
Each partner will organise its mobility as a host centre: planning, visits, workshops and dissemination of the project. In addition, it will appoint the persons responsible for the activities of the preparation phase, who will coordinate via eTwinning with their counterparts in the other institutions to ensure the smooth running of these activities. The school in Italy will organise the transnational mid-term evaluation meeting and the school in Spain will organise the training event.
With this project we expect our students to be able to:
-Know the basic aspects of the culture and history of the Celtic peoples.
-Appreciate their contribution to the European artistic and cultural heritage.
-To get closer to the Celtic world through their texts.
-To delve into the environmental, scientific and technological aspects of these peoples.
-To make creative proposals using appropriate tools and computer resources, taking into account their artistic schemes.
In this way we want to awaken in our pupils an interest in learning and in getting involved in their own teaching process, thus improving academic results.
In addition, we believe that this project will also contribute to:
-To achieve a greater awareness of belonging to Europe and knowledge of its democratic values.
-Developing an attitude of responsibility and respect for the environment.
-Acquire key competences.
-Develop basic skills in the field of new technologies.
Etwinning will be an essential element in the development of this project, as a communication tool and through its Twinspace platform. All the materials that are developed will be posted on the associated Twinspace and will serve as a model or inspiration for the rest of the students. It will allow us to see the development of the activities and to introduce, if necessary, the appropriate corrections; it will be our project diary. These results will be available to all members of the exchange partnership - and to the general public - through Twinspace, which will also be accessible through the project website.
Some of these results will include the following:
-Works and murals on aspects of Celtic culture.
-Works on numbering systems
-Theatre production
-Dramatisations
-Productions with ScretchUp
-Celtic village to scale
-Celtic World Trivia (Kahoot)
-Audiovisual presentations
-Astronomical observation
-Great Celtic festival
