About us
Community Advancement Initiative for Self-Reliance (CAI4SR) is a Non-government and not-for-profit organization based in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. The aim of the organization is to champion the course of the oppressed and voiceless in Nigeria and beyond through innovative programmes and projects for awareness raising and sensitization on Human Rights and its implication for development. Our primary targets are women, children and persons with disabilities. The organisation was founded in the year 2009 but registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on November 7, 2014.

CAI4SR secured a three – year funding from the Christoffel Blinden Mission (CBM) UK implemented through CBM Nigeria on the prevention of avoidable blindness amongst children from age 0 to 14.
Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights
CAI4SR gender-based violence strategy has been basically to raise awareness about gender-based violence in society.
Civic Engagement
As part of civil society engagement for the 2019 general elections, CAI4SR partnered with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to embark on community mobilisation in some LGAs, Osun state, Nigeria.
