Converted Locker Bay
As part of our long-term plans to create spaces that replicate post-secondary experiences; in the summer of 2022 we transformed an unused locker bay to create a space for seniors to relax and strengthen camaraderie.
Replicating College Dorm Common Areas
Our senior lounge creates a commons area for students to relax, complete work and build stronger friendships and have a place they can call their own.
High School Cafeteria
Replicating College & Workplace Cafes
In the 2022-23 school year we began to transform our HS caferteria from a dated 1970's space, think brown/yellow floor tile; and create a space that more closely replicates a college dining hall or corporate food court. We painted the walls to be ready for student art work(still in progress), covered the original floor tile with an expoxy coating, and bought new furniture. The furnitre is a combination of soft booth seating, cafe height tables and individual chairs. Student feedback has been very positive.
All the furniture is on casters or slide bases that allow us to easily create multiple configurations for special events in this space.
Disc Golf Course

The course was designed for both student use during PE classes and community use.
Tee Pad
Tee pads and Baskets were installed with assistance from the Cap Region Disc Golf Club in the summer of 2023.
Basket 16
The course follows part of our 1.6 mile nature trail. Signage on the course and nature trail will be added during 23-24.
