Listed below are brief descriptions of the Pride Badges you can earn by completing a series of trail badges.

Pride Badge: INNOVATION

Student demonstrates creative thinking, constructs knowledge, and develops innovative products and processes that have value.

Pride Badge: CRITICAL THINKING

Students use critical thinking skills to plan and conduct research, manage projects, solve problems, and make informed decisions using appropriate digital tools and resources.

Pride Badge: SELF-DIRECTION

Students have the qualities and skills to direct his or her own learning in a variety of settings and to ‘upgrade’ knowledge and skills for new careers that are not in place today.

Pride Badge: COLLABORATION

Students communicate and work collaboratively to support individual learning and contribute to the learning of others.

Pride Badge: INFORMATION LITERACY

Students apply the tools at hand to identify information needs and determine the extent of information needed and use the information to inform themselves and others. Clearly and concisely define the question to be answered, and realize that the question may evolve.

PRIDE BADGE: COMMUNITY SERVICE

Students volunteer in their community by mentoring, being a positive role model, participating in events and donating their talents to make our local, regional, national and world community a better place

PRIDE BADGE: WELLNESS

Students engage in physical activity as well as develop healthy nutrition and sleeping habits. Both physical and mental wellness strategies are exhibited as well as prevention through certification in first aid/CPR.

PRIDE BADGE: PERSONAL SKILLS

Students exhibit time management, respect and responsibility as well as a demeanor to work with others towards a common goal. Students demonstrate the ability to self-regulate while planning both long and short term projects and assignments.

PRIDE BADGE: FINANCIAL LITERACY

Students exhibit understanding in: earning income, buying goods and services, saving, using credit, financial investing and protecting and insuring.

PRIDE BADGE: CODING

Students will demonstrate understanding and application of coding languages, progressing through series of levels within each coding language; such as Scratch, Java.
