These dynamics include ways to appropriately respond to trauma behaviors in the field, and how to question children in a developmentally appropriate manner without interfering with the investigation and/or prosecution. Learn how to apply strategies to set children up for success in the process. Participants will learn the following:
Discuss different solutions for specific trauma responses.
Explain different behaviors and statements made by children who experience abuse.
Revise complex questions to be more developmentally appropriate.
