What if I already have a hotspot?
Do you already have a school-issued hotspot from a previous school year?
If you'd like to get school-provided internet service, go ahead and submit an order in the Homeschool Hub for a Verizon Hotspot Reactivation.
The school is not able to add service on any personal hotspots.
How long will I have internet/data service?
You will have internet service on the school-issued hotspot for the remainder of the school year.
All hotspots are shut off after the last day of the school year at the end of May. A reactivation order will be required the next school year in order to reactivate the hotspot.
How much data will my hotspot provide monthly?
Your school-issued hotspot will "technically" provide you with unlimited data every month BUT data speeds may be throttled after 25 GB of data usage.
Hotspot Policies:
For school/education use ONLY
Data limits are enforced by the provider and are ample for education.
Overages in data limits may result in throttling (slowdown) which can impact education.
Are you having trouble finding affordable internet service for your home?
