I am a mom of two incredible children who make my life very happy. I studied Industrial Design, I chose that career because since I was little I liked to explore, organize and be artistic. In this area I could design and research. Now, God has given me the opportunity to leave a legacy for my little ones. I'm very passionate by always teaching the way life is going to be with a God's perspective adding a creative touch, from the food I prepare for them to the way we learn and explore.

Hola! Hello! My name is Yoajaira and I am a mother of two amazing-bilingual children, a wife to my high school sweetheart and a worker for my local government, where I have the opportunity to assist families in the community. I love to spend time outdoors in nature with my family, explore our local towns, travel and learn about various cultures from around the world.

A few reasons I would like to serve on the Cabrillo Academy Multilingual Learner Advisory Committee are; to take advantage to learn from other families, who are on the same multilingual homeschooling path, to help with resources and hands on events, and to also share my family's multilingual homeschooling journey. Hi, my name is Issa! Im a bilingual mom who was raised learning in only one language, and immersed in a second language because of family matters. As I was growing up I had some troubles learning English and no real support to address it.

As a mom of a bilingual beginner, I would love to share my little knowledge on what did make it hard for me, and what I've seen makes it difficult for my little one to learn English.
