The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) is comprised of the Initial, Summative, and Alternate ELPAC. The practice and training tests allow students, parents/guardians, families, teachers, administrators, and others an opportunity to become familiar with the computer-based test delivery platform as well as the types of test questions that may appear on the actual test at each grade or grade span.

Interim ELPAC is offered in November and December and gives students practice with the ELPAC test, as well as results. The results can give HSTs, parents and students valuable information for focusing on English skills that will support the student in passing the ELPAC.

ELPAC Test Preparation Live Zoom Sessions 

Review ELPAC task types and become familiar with the ELPAC test. ELPAC test prep sessions will begin in December and be held via Zoom.

Meet with EL staff to review ELPAC test results and create specific goals for improvement, and make a plan for meeting the goals using specific resources.
