POCR

Program Overview

The Cabrillo Local POCR Program is paired with the TIDL Program. The Program is led by the TLC Director, Joy Polanco O'Neil, and co-developed and deployed with the Cabrillo TLC Team and faculty (and qualified staff) certified POCR Reviewers. The Progam was developed from CRGB Block Grant state funding (AKA, COVID Funds) and is a sustained Program with the support from Cabrillo's Vice President Office of Instruction. 

The three-course TIDL Program completion is part of the CVC-OEI Course Design Rubric Peer Online Course Review (POCR). As part of the TIDL Program, faculty are supported by a certified local POCR Reviewer with the full design of their course. Once a course is passed as "aligned", the faculty and their course is badged for outstanding quality and placed in the CVC-OEI Exchange Program. 

This Local POCR Program website will serve Cabrillo's faculty with the information you need to: 1. become a POCR Reviewer and part of the Local POCR Team, 2. the how-to's in having your course quality CVC-OEI and Equity Rubric reviewed by our Local POCR Reviewers and 3. the benefits of getting your online course POCR Reviewed and badged.  

The TIDL 1 course is offered year-round (see the VRC MySeahawkPD to register)  and TIDL 2 and 3 (which is required to have your course Local PORC reviewed and badged for the Exchange Program) are offered once in the Summer and once in the Winter.  For more information on the TIDL Program
