Show up to think together with the community! Our July calendar is live.
Take the Think Collective format into your own organisation or community. We'll send you nudges you need to get started.
Think Collective is a community of/for social development practitioners who care about reflection, strategic brainstorming, and collective sensemaking. It welcomes thinkers and doers who are questioning the status quo in their own domains to engage with shared inquiries around scale, speed, and sustainability of exponential change, grounded in the ideas of the Think books.
Think Collective Month is initiated by Centre for Exponential Change, but it is intentionally designed as a community-wide effort. Anyone who cares about societal challenges and new ways of thinking about change is welcome to participate.
Social development practitioners are the primary community around Think Collective, but Think Collective Month is open to everyone.
Whether you work in tech, business, design, art, law, policy, education, research — or are simply curious — you are welcome to join the gatherings and activities happening throughout July.
Not at all.
Many activities will happen in Bangalore because that’s where we are based. But Think Collective Month is designed to travel. You can participate, host, or co-create activities from anywhere — online or offline, in any city or country.
Start simple.
Explore the Think books and identify ideas that feel relevant to you
Browse the Think Collective Sparks for inspiration
Use the Facilitator’s Guide to understand the spirit of Think sessions
Shape it into a format that feels natural for your space — a learning conversation, reflection circle, brainstorming session, or anything else
Give yourself permission to imagine what’s possible and useful for your own context.
No approval is needed.
If you’d like, you can share your idea with us and we’d be happy to help you shape or strengthen it. Drop it like it’s hot to polina@c4ec.org.
Yes.
If you’re hosting something aligned with the vision of Think Collective Month, we can explore co-branding it and adding it to the shared calendar to help amplify participation.
No. Participation is free.
Being a co-host is free, and all Think Collective Month gatherings will also be free to attend, except a few ones where the third-party is involved in organizing a ticketed event.
Think Collective Month is an opportunity to:
meet people across sectors and spaces
explore fresh perspectives on societal change
apply meta level concepts to your context-specific practice
bring reflection into everyday work
take a breather from the to-do list
Or simply put:
if you care about societal change, chances are your people will be here.
Yes. A shared calendar of events and gatherings that is being continuously updated is here.
Absolutely.
And maybe this is the right moment to get yourself familiar. :)
Think Collective Month is designed for both people already in the ecosystem and those encountering these ideas for the first time. Curiosity is enough to begin.
