If students are entering bank account details which they know will change then I would advise that they do not input details until they have correct account details as some students may not change bank details in time and then monies go to a wrong account which causes distress.
Students can enter their UK passport details on the online application but if they do not have a UK passport then they must sent us their original non UK passport or their original birth certificate with the declaration. This is all detailed on the online application.
They need to input bank details so their student loan can be paid into their bank accounts. All students applying for student finance going into first year will be in the same position, perhaps not 18 yet and will not have a definite offer from their chosen/first choice university but need to input/apply using their details and bank account details. If the student does not give bank details at time of application they can certainly give them to the Student Loans Company at a later date. No monies are paid until the university confirms their attendance at the said course and university.
Important information for anyone that applying for a course with fees paid: With regards to any nursing students if they want to apply to us for student finance they need to input a different course as we will refuse their application if they input nursing at an NI institution.
