Here you will find some useful resources for the year ahead, including: videos, notes, extra worksheets and information on what we do in Y10 maths.

Everyday you will be expected to have with you: a pencil, pen (blue or black and red), rubber, sharpener and ruler (preferably 30cm).

You will also be expected to have a calculator with you everyday. We recommend a Casio fx83 or Casio fx85 which is suitable for GCSE Maths or a Casio fx991EX which is best for GCSE Further Maths and A level Maths.

Year 10 to GCSE Maths

Most of the topics that you work through in Year 10 are actually grade C/C*/B GCSE topics and through Years 11 and 12 you will continue to consolidate these topics and work through the grade A and A* topics.

Below are the links to all the relevant Corbettmaths videos and questions for all the topics that you have covered this year in Year 10.

Here is also a booklet of Year 10 Summer Revision Questions which goes through each topic and gives 4/5 questions which you can do and where to get more help if you need it. The answers can be found here.

Dr Frost Maths is a great website you can use if you want to revise, brush up on a particular topic or just generally try to improve your mathematical ability. You can search for questions by topic, watch videos on each key skill and earn rewards/trophies as you progress.

We have also created a 'Course' called Year 8 January Exam Revision which covers all of the topics you will meet in your January Exam. Your maths teacher will hopefully be able to talk you through how you should use this.
