This A level equips students with design skills for the future.
Students will be able to recognise design needs and develop an understanding of how current global issues, including integrating technology, impacts on today’s world. Encourages creativity and innovation. At A level, students will have the confidence to innovate and produce creative design solutions as they develop their own design brief with a client.
Why Study D&T/Career Pathways
D&T gives a wide variety of choice after A Level. Depending on what subject combination you choose will depend on what direction you can take. When combined with creative subjects it can lead to careers in product design. If you choose to combine it with more science based subjects you can gain entry to a range of engineering disciplines including but not limited to biomedical and mechanical engineering.
