Mr. Han's Bio

My name is Ryan Han and I am very excited to be continuing my 3rd year C2E. A little bit about myself..... I graduated from Northern Arizona University where I met my wife of 18 years, 2 boys, and 2 dogs, one a Yellow Lab named Nola and the other a male Swiss Mountain Dog name Birchum. We recently moved from Washington, but I grew up in Phoenix. I am a huge Arizona Cardinals, Diamondback, Suns, and Arizona State Sun Devil fan, but can see myself rooting for the Broncos, being that they're not in the Cardinal's division.

I am going into my 24th year in teaching. I have spent 8 years teaching 5th grade and 17 teaching middle school social studies, mainly 8th grade. I am a huge advocate of teaching history and how to tie events of the past into the modern day. In addition, I'm a big time history nerd. I love going back East every summer to visit and learn from the places where history happened. I hope your child not only learns a lot in my class, but truly appreciates history.
