I was born in Southern California alongside my fraternal twin sister, Lauren! (Lauren lives in the Boston., MA area and is a high school english teacher). I grew up playing soccer and loving all things Harry Potter.
I went to college at BIOLA University in La Mirada, California and studied youth ministry. Before teaching, I worked at churches with middle school aged students. In 2018 I moved to Colorado and after a brief 2 year period in Florida from 2019-2021, moved back to Colorado in 2022 and started teaching. In 2024 I graduated from MSU Denver with my Masters in Education and my initial teaching license.
When I'm not teaching, I love reading, getting active (hiking, paddleboarding, snowboarding), laying in the sun, spending time with my friends, and going on adventures. So far in 2025 I've visited friends in California, ran my first half marathon, was surprised with a Survivor themed 30th Birthday, hiked alongside a glacier in Alaska and caught salmon in the Kenai River! I look forward to what the rest of the year has in store for all of us.
