MARK MITCHELL

I'm a Chartered Accountant (FCA) with 40 years of accounting experience in audit (PwC), Group Financial Controller positions (divisions of Merck, Getty Images, Ready2Shop and Tungsten Network) and, for the last 10 years, co-founder of a niche accountancy practice specialising in providing support to early-stage tech companies (Mitch Consulting).

As a Trustee of Cambridge Pringle Group, I hope to be able to leverage my experience to provide a finance perspective to decision making and strategy discussions as well as presenting financial results and analysis to the Board. I can also provide support in areas such as financial forecast modelling, accounting systems review/implementation, management accounts reporting, internal controls review and ad hoc financial projects. My background of working in large corporates and of running a small business will hopefully add to the skills mix at the Board.

I have lived in Bury St Edmunds for 5 years and recently moved to be closer to our daughter and grandsons. Now we have sold the business, I am looking to use my experience gained in practice and industry to provide accounting support to the Third Sector.

Cambridge Pringle Group's social mission obviously has a massive impact on the lives of their residents and I'm looking forward to being part of this exciting journey as the organisation moves to the next level.
