- What should I do if my Chromebook is broken? Please contact Rance Eberhardt at reberhardt@c-ischools.org to setup an appointment to swap out for a new Chromebook.
- What if I can't login to my Chromebook because I don't know the username and password? Please complete the Tech Help Desk Form and someone will get back to you with info on your username, password and directions for logging in.
- What if I don’t have the internet at home? We are working diligently to identify solutions for families who lack appropriate internet service at home for distance learning. We have three options to improve access to instruction and learning materials.
- Solution 1 - Midcontinent offers low-cost Internet service for low-income households and is expanding to serve any families who need service for distance learning within their service area (primarily the cities of Cambridge and Isanti). Contact Midcontinent and ask for their Midcontinent Lifeline or Education Assistance Credit program. Their phone number is 1-833-338-4638 (1-833-EDU-INET). You will need the following code to receive the education assistance credit: MIBEDU20.
- Solution 2 - Contact your cell phone service provider and request service for a hotspot, which would provide internet to families who are unable to acquire a hard-wired internet connection to their home due to their location.
- Solution 3 - Paper copies. The District will provide offline-access to learning materials, with phone check-ins by teachers. Materials will be available for pick-up or delivery. Details on this option will be provided by Friday, March 27.
