The Taming, written by Lauren Gunderson, is a raucous farce about three women with wildly opposing political agendas—a beauty pageant queen, a conservative aide, and a liberal blogger—who get locked in a hotel room to rewrite the Constitution. Jean Miller directs this staged reading, featuring Andrea Bowers, Sarah Colwell and Piper Fedrow.

The Taming plays one weekend only, September 4-6, at 545 Shasta Ave. in

Morro Bay. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7pm, and

Sunday at 3pm.
