Neil Simon's “CALIFORNIA SUITE” is the Spring show at By the Sea Productions

By the Sea Productions is celebrating its 10th year of live theater in Morro Bay with a director's workshop production of Neil Simon's “California Suite.” With several new directors/actors on the company board, Nicolette Tempesta, the new president, decided to showcase them all by having each stage a scene of this classic comedy/drama depicting different guests in room 203 of a California hotel. The directors are Nicolette, Jonah Duhe, Topher Lyons and Kira Dobson, and each scene features a different cast of actors. This four-shows-in-one presentation offers an intriguing theater experience. 

“California Suite” runs for three weekends, April 24 through May 10, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 3pm, at 545 Shasta Ave. in Morro Bay. Reservations and tickets available at bytheseaproductions.org and 805-776-3287.
