Mental health problems can affect many areas of students’ lives, reducing their quality of life, academic achievement, physical health, and negatively impacting relationships with friends and family members. These issues can also have long-term consequences for students, and overall health.
We are excited to partner with Family Service Rochester to offer onsite mental health services to students. It is a professional, private, confidential service that allows students to access therapy on a regular basis, reduces need for transportation and reduces the amount of time students miss academic work. Unlike school counselors who have a multitude of assigned duties and job tasks and limited time, the therapist's role is strictly to provide therapy to students. Please see the documents below:
