MEET MR. PAT McCARTHY

About myself

Hello,

My name is Patrick McCarthy and I am the middle school counselor. I am originally from Farmington, MN, but now live in Byron. I live with my wife, 9-year-old (4th grade) daughter, and 5-year old (kindergarten). My wife is a psychologist at the Waseca Federal Prison. We enjoy being outside, taking walks, and being with friends and family.

I completed my undergraduate degree from University of Jamestown (ND), with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2006. In 2016, I completed my graduate degree in School Counseling, from Capella University. In between my undergrad and graduate degrees, I worked with youth in various roles.
