The backbone of every modern classroom experience is the class handout. Often these contain instructional notes but also demonstrations of the topic being discussed. The cool thing about handing out a jupyter notebook is that in addition to the ease of authoring material that often involves a mix of expository text, illustrations and mathematics you can present example calculations that students can interact with during pauses when you check for understanding. Students can keep these materials for their own use and expansion. It is also helpful as the students see how to do things in their own authored work. Double click on any cell and you can see how this or that trick was done.
