This document outlines a set of suggestions on how to build documents that provide a consistent look-and-feel for students. It is also a way to model how students might want to think about how to communicate their own ideas in a report.
These are just suggestions and ideas. By all means, create your own style but breaking things into bite sized chunks (yes, this may be different for different audiences) is a fairly widely accepted 'good idea' for communication.
