Focus Groups are interactive discussions designed to gather in-depth insights and perspectives from members of the community. These sessions provide a platform for participants to share their experiences, opinions, and ideas related to the Community Needs Assessment (CNA). The purpose of the Focus Groups is to foster meaningful dialogue, uncover key issues, and identify opportunities for the Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities to better serve the needs of our community. Your participation in these sessions will help shape the future direction of our programs and initiatives, ensuring that they align closely with the priorities and aspirations of our diverse community.

Important Update on Our Community Needs Assessment Focus Groups
To our valued community members,
As part of our ongoing commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that all voices in our community are heard, we have decided to postpone the previously scheduled focus groups for the Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities Community Needs Assessment (CNA).
Our initial response rates have shown us that we need to broaden our outreach efforts to more fully engage the diverse populations within our community, particularly people of color, whose insights and experiences are crucial to this process. In doing so, we aim to create a more inclusive and representative forum for discussion.
We are currently re-evaluating our approach to ensure that our focus groups are accessible and welcoming to all members of our community. New dates and locations for the focus groups will be announced shortly, as we explore more effective ways to connect with and involve a broader cross-section of our community.
We understand the importance of this assessment in shaping the future of the Weymouth Center and its role in our community. Therefore, we are committed to taking the necessary steps to ensure its success and the meaningful involvement of all community members.
