Badgers

To deepen the children's understanding of the issue, Badgerst received a visit from Lucy Holmes, ‘Director of Nature4Climate’, a global coalition of international organisations. In her time with Badgers she explained the critical role that nature plays in restoring balance to our climate. The children were inspired by her presentation and went on to write a passionate letter for action to the leaders at COP28 which was then taken to Dubai! The letter can be viewed below.

The Chair of Broughton Parish Council, James Hodgson visited the school in March with fellow councillor Michael Mossman.  They took questions from the children about how Climate Change is affecting our locality and plans to tackle it, including changes that the children could make themselves to alleviate the problem.
