If you need a mental break from work, or if you like to multitask, audiobooks are a great way to escape. Listen to a novel being read out loud while you cook, clean, or get out for a walk in your neighbourhood. Whilst there have been paid subscription services like audible available for a while now, the ABC Listen app now has FREE audiobooks. All you have to do is download the app, and under "Browse" select "Audiobooks". You can also access FREE audiobooks through our own library where there are 880 audio books in addition to over 2000 eBooks!
Use the "Books" app on iPhone or Mac
If e-books are more your thing, or you'd like to give them a try, log into our Virtual Library Classroom (code unu7pgw) or get the "Books" app from the app store. Available for iPhone and Mac. Andriod also has other book apps available, as well as Google Books.
