The material is made of 150 full colour laminated cards spread over 15 levels. It includes a levelling test that is used to grade students into the box. This is a social skills intervention; this course/intervention will show how to reduce stress, calm nerves, work with frustration, and become better at relating to other people through mindfulness. Mindfulness has to do with becoming more aware of thoughts and feelings. Learning how to use the tools of mindfulness will give creative ways to calm yourself, focus, and connect better with yourself and others. It can help recover after you suffer a meltdown or even prevent you from having one in the first place.
Lexia PowerUp Literacy is designed to help students in Years 7 and above become proficient readers, confident learners and GCSE-ready.
PowerUp Literacy™ primarily targets Key Stage 3 pupils who lack the basic reading, academic vocabulary and the comprehension skills necessary to fully access and engage in the secondary curriculum.
All dyslexic and not literacy proficient students are on the Lexia program. It is an individual and it can be used at home as well.
