AIMS CLUB

The AIMS club’s programme focuses on two areas namely the media skills and the audio-visual aid (AVA) skills. Students will go through a structured training in sound, lighting and projection system to effectively carry out AVA duties for all school events/functions. Besides training students to carry out AVA duties, the club also aims to equip its members with essential and relevant skills that would enable them to develop publications and video presentations.

Meeting: Friday 2.30pm-4.30pm

Duty: 7.00am-7.30am(Daily)

LIBRARY

The student librarians help the school operate and maintain the school library as a place for knowledge building and active learning. Specifically, members assist the school librarian in providing students access to a variety of print and non-print resources. Besides carrying out their regular duties, student librarians actively innovate ways to promote a love for reading and nurture curious minds among their schoolmates. The library houses a collection of print and non-print materials which include books, magazines, newspapers, and multimedia resources such as access to e-books and audio texts. Members of the club are given exclusive privileges to these services and are taught the basics of operating a library system. Members not only hone their leadership qualities through assuming positions such as Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Secretary in the library committee but also reap the benefits of learning to work as a team through their engagement in the varied activities organised for them throughout the year.
