Smartmusic
Information about the program:
Smartmusic is an interactive web-based practice program that the 7th and 8th grade band will be using for practice assignments this year. This program provides access to some concert songs and exercises from the method book, and allows students to:
Listen to what their part should sound like.
Play along with an accompaniment track.
Review the fingering and sound for unfamiliar notes.
Record themselves play and receive immediate feedback about their performance. Correct notes turn green and incorrect notes turn red.
The cost to access the program for the year is $8. Payment can be submitted along with the Band Information Form that was passed out on the first day of school.
